The MESHsystems contractor safety module provides outstanding capabilities not provided in any other system.

Contractors log in to the contractor module with their name/password and add/edit their Pre-qualification Information which is viewed by the company. This is a very convenient method for contractors to provide and update their information.

Companies can add/edit Project information specific to the contractor for viewing by the contractor. This communicates project details such as safety, meetings and other important requirements of the project.

All information is then saved in <str

The new “Contractor” module has some very unique and exciting capabilities. By providing contractor login capabilities, contractors can enter the information for the PreQualification form directly online and maintain it. I know of companies who have staff assigned to performing this function….I was one of them and the time spend in this activity was very costly. The company can view contractor PQ information in a very efficient and searchable system.

The other exciting company/contractor capability is the managing of projects. The company can enter all information for a project and the contractor can login to view the project information and record information specific to that project.

This is true interactivity and efficiency in managing the sometimes difficult world of contractors. By effectively communicating in this way the result will be a better experience for the contractor and for the company that will prevent incidents and create the all important “paper trail” or as we call it the “data trail.”

When we decided to upgrade from ASP.NET to Adobe Flex, we knew this would be a major undertaking. We also knew the effort would be well worth it and it is meeting and exceeding our expectations in every way.

Now MESHsystems can run on all operating systems and all browsers because it uses the Flash player. We run it on the Mac OS and use FireFox, Safari and others. This is a huge benefit!

The other reason for this technology change is for speed. When running an application across the Internet, speed can vary depending on the connection. Having a marginal connection and a slow application is not fun at all. A Flex/Flash application is blazingly fast and operates like the high-end websites in speed and performance.

Now what do you do when you do not have a connection at all? We offer MESHsystems modules in “Adobe Integrated Runtime” or “AIR.” This means the application can run natively on your desktop as if on the online system. Speed is instantaneous and any work done in AIR is automatically synced when a connection can be made.
